Last week, the Common Hope team spent time in Florida, connecting with supporters old and new. It was a week filled with inspiring conversations, meaningful relationships, and a shared belief in the power of education and opportunity.
Through the generosity of those they met—primarily in individual meetings—the team reached its fundraising goal of over $10,000! This outpouring of support reaffirmed the impact of one-on-one conversations and the power of sharing Common Hope’s mission directly with those who care deeply about making a difference.
Another highlight of the trip was an intimate dinner party in Naples, where several new guests were introduced to Common Hope’s work. By the end of the evening, some had committed to becoming student sponsors—an incredible testament to the power of personal connection and storytelling. Seeing new supporters step forward to invest in a student’s future was a powerful reminder of the importance of this work.
Gathering supporters in one-on-one meetings and small events is a return to Common Hope’s roots, when communities across the country came together to champion its mission. This personal approach has always been at the heart of the organization’s success, and the team is excited to continue fostering these connections in meaningful ways.
