Letter Translation Events

Every letter holds a story, a connection, and a world of encouragement. Our sponsorship program fosters meaningful relationships between students and their sponsors, and letters are a vital part of that connection. But before they can be sent, they need to be translated!

Looking to host your own orientation?

Thank you for your interest in volunteering as a letter translator! Before you get started, we ask all new volunteers to attend a brief orientation. This will help you understand our translation guidelines, learn best practices, and ensure a smooth process for both you and the students we serve.

What to Expect in Your Orientation:

✅ An overview of Common Hope’s sponsorship program
✅ Tips for accurately and sensitively translating student letters
✅ A walkthrough of how to receive and submit letters
✅ A chance to ask questions and connect with our team

If for any reason you can not attend one of the listed events above, please sign up for an individual orientation with a suggested time that works for you.

We’re so grateful for your help in keeping these special connections alive—thank you for being part of this work!
