The reason for our work

Kate Lucas is the Grants and Communications Coordinator at Common Hope. She writes grants, edits print communications, and manages Common Hope's online presence on the blog, Facebook, and Twitter. It was during her enriching semester as an international student in Central America that Kate first learned about Common Hope—but not until several more life twists and turns that she joined the staff. She feels blessed to work at an organization where she can engage her love of writing, her passion for social change, and her appreciation of Central American culture.
